Devotion
'This teaching is difficult; who can accept it?'
Jesus' disciples were having a hard time with everything. Jesus was instructing them about. There were evidently those present who were having a difficult time believing Jesus. Some left because they couldn't or wouldn't believe. Some left because they just couldn't 'hack it.'
What a tragedy. Wouldn't it be a tragedy if we found ourselves in the same situation? Like Peter, we have no other place to go. We will find life only in Christ.
Prayer
Lord, help us in our belief. Make us strong in our faith. We have no other hope, but in you. Where else can we go? Amen.
