Scripture John 8: 47-59
Devotion Angered men pushed to their limits by what is put upon their minds by evil pride and distortion, can destroy and ruin men’s souls. The evil in those spiritless to God can only be motivated by more of the same. They can only grow in more wickedness and lies, corruption and in-compassion. The Jews were closed of heart in believing Jesus and the truth of His words and when we close our minds to the truth, we only live and walk in darkness, never seeing God’s glorious light.
Prayer Heavenly Father forgive us for our doubtfulness and times of weakness, for we fear the unknown and that which we do not understand. Fill us with your Spirit and manifest in us a new heart and open our eyes so we may see, open our ears so we may hear your voice when you speak.
