Mark 5: 1-20
Devotion
The book of Mark stresses facts and actions instead of themes or topics. Some biblical scholars believe that it is the most exciting account of the life of Christ among the gospels. Mark tells in detail stories of Christ’s ministry and miracles. If we stop to think about it, Jesus is performing miracles in our lives each and every day. We need to do as the demon-possessed man was asked to do. “Go home to your family and tell them how much the Lord has done for you and how he has had mercy on you”. Jesus asks us to share His story to all the world.
Prayer
Almighty Father, help us to share the stories of Jesus’ healing miracles and His loving mercy to all the world. Let us tell of how He died for our sins so that we may live. Amen.
