Devotion
This Psalm shows David as a vulnerable human just like us.
People are doing and saying things about and to him that he doesn’t deserve and it hurts. How many times have we felt the same way? But instead of retaliating against these people himself he is asking God to take care of the situation for him.
Through faith, David knew that God would take care of everything for him, in His own time.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, when things are rough, give us the patience to wait on You. Help us to remember that all things work for good for those who trust in the Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
